We’re almost ready

…for your arrival, lil’one.

Abi & Ummi went for a date today. Its been quite sometimes since last time we’re both out for a date. We went to our favourite place, The Curve @ Mutiara Damansara.

We watched Stardust at Cathay Cineleisure, we ate Big Apple Donuts for the evening snack and dined at Vivo Pizza since ummi teringin sangat nak makan pizza. Then abi bought ”Your Baby’s 1st Year” book for ummi so that we’re both can take care of you better. Ummi decided to mix & match the traditional way of raising baby with the Western style. Not all Western way is bad you know. In fact, some are good and more logical to ummi’s thinking. =p

Okay lets continue, after we dined, abi drove ummi to Uptown for your shopping spree at Babyjaya Shopping Centre. However, it was unfortunate for us since we arrived there at 8.30pm, not knowing the centre closed at 8pm. Ummi was quite disappointed at first because i already set my mind to shop at the centre. Then suddenly Ummi remembered the Babyland Centre at SS2. Terus abi drive ke sana and memang dah rezeki tauke babyland tu agaknya, they closed at 10pm. Adalah 2 bakul penuh barang2, thank you to abi sebab dia yang angkat semua bakul2 tu. heehhhee. Kat sini ummi nak say many Thanx to Auntie Lolyta sebab ummi buat baby’s list based on what she wrote in her blog. Kalau tidak, ummi gerenti blur apa yang patut di beli and apa yang tak perlu. Yelah kalau ikut hati dan nafsu, rasa nak tapau semua je dalam kedai tu kann… hiihiihii.

Sekarang ni, barang2 yang belum dibeli cuma tinggal <10 items je. Cuma, sampai sekarang ni ummi belum decide lagi samada nak beli electric breast pump ataupun manual. MamiHafiy kata Avent electric pump tu bagus walaupun mahal harganya. Ummi terpengaruh jugaklah dengan apa yang Mami Lil’Hafiy cakap tu, cuma nak kena tengok budget dulu; kata abi. Stroller dengan infant carrier pun belum beli lagi, masih survey pilihan yang ada.
So lepas ni, ummi senang hati lah sikit sebab barang baby dah hampir lengkap. Lagipun, lepas ni abi akan mula bz dengan training & tournament rowing dia. However, he already promised ummi that in December he’ll not going anywhere. He will always be at ummi’s side in case you decide to arrive early. =)

The trip that has to be cancelled

We are supposely will be going for a weekend trip to Pangkor tomorrow. However, due to many concerns and advises from elders/seniors/aunts and colleagues; they said i shouldn’t be going and have a rest instead, hence yesterday i went to seek for medical expert say about that.

Even that my health and baby are ok, but the backache and legs edema are quite a concern for Dr. N. So she decided that it is NOT ADVISABLE for me to travel long journey until after delivery. Siap ada surat lagi from her.

Walaupun saya sedikit rasa sedih sebab x dapat pergi beryuha-yuhi sambil snorkeling di Pulau Pangkor (lagipun saya belum pernah sampai lagi ke sana), namun sebenarnya naluri hati saya berasa sedikit lega sebab sejak awal minggu lalu saya rasa x sedap hati sangat nak travel jauh2. Tambah lagi dengan sakit belakang dan kaki saya yg super bengkak ni, sedikit sebanyak saya risau juga.

So, untuk mengisi masa lapang weekend ni; hubby ajak saya pergi tengok movie dan seterusnya pergi shopping barang2 lil’one yang belum lengkap lagi ni.

Erm.. xde lah rugi sangat x dapat ke Pangkor kan??

@32 weeks

The appoinment with Dr N went well, as usual. Apart from my ’super bloated’ legs, i’m doing just fine, so do my darling lil’one. I’m 70.3kg and Baby now weights 1.750kg. Patutlah ummi byk makan sekarang..rupenye baby yg amik most of the nutrients.

However, there’s a good news from Dr.N. When Dr N scanned my belly, she was quite surprise to see the plasenta is already “matured”.. Since lil’one already in engaged position and the plasenta is already mature, there is probability that lil’one will be checking-out from ummi’s hotel 2-3 weeks before my EDD; 1st Jan 2008. Whoaaa.. a good news for me and a surprise for hubby. hehehe.

Its not that i dont like lil’one to stay inside my belly up till the EDD, honestly i’d like lil’one to pop-out a week before the EDD which is our anniversary date. I dont mind really if lil’one decide to stay until the EDD. The most important thing is both of us will be in good condition.

Speaking of early delivery, it reminds me that we should spare 1 day soon for an outing to shop for baby’s items. Takut nanti bila tangguh2 beli, i’m not fit for shopping pulak. Lagipun, i must get ready by Dec in case lil’one decide to check-out sooner that we expected.

And oh, my parents will be holding a kenduri doa selamat / kenduri berlenggang for baby&I tomorrow. Rasa seronok pulak sebab i’ll be the centre of attention tomorrow. yeeppeee…
