We’re getting there

I marked 37 weeks of pregnancy this week. We had an appointment with Dr.N earlier this morning. Nothing unusual, normal check-up of baby & I. Blood pressure OK and glucose OK.

I weighted 73.1kg, which I’m not sure wether to be happy or unhappy with it. Because deep in my heart I have the fear of not loosing all the baby-fat after the delivery. Biasalah kan kita orang perempuan ni pasal body/weight ni memang sensitive sikit. On happy note, lil’one weight approximately at 3.15kg. Wow, besar juga anak ummi ni. But I do know that its only a ‘approximate measure’, the actual size might be less or more than the figure given by the machine. Takpe, yang penting anak ummi sihat tubuh badan dan sempurna sifat.

Nway, Dr.N informed that lil’one is already in ‘drop’ position and by looking at my placenta which also already mature at stage III, she expected that lil’one will be making the final appearance within 1-2 weeks time. If I’m lucky enough, there are possibility of lil’one to be the New Year’s Baby (remember my EDD is 1st Jan 200 but with low percent.

Secretly I was hoping that lil’one will be arriving on 23rd December 2007 as the day is Abi & Ummi’s anniversary date. Our precious lil’bundle of joy would be the most valuable gift given by The Almighty and also lil’one will be the greatest gift for each other on our anniversary. Whatever the date will be, I dont really mind as long as lil’one is healthy. Its only a date after all.
