I come to know the news when I visited her web just now.

Anyway, we went for her 4th jap this morning. Am not surprise at all, she weights at 5.85kg, increased 450 grams only! :?  Then bile part tinggi macam biasalah, her paed said the same dialogue while jotting the chart.. tinggi dia ni, ikut abi… I guess I have to menerima hakikat yang Tasneem wont be as chubby and montels as other babies yang kusss-semangat badan dia tu. Mula2 dulu terasa jugakla bila orang komen Tasneem x montel, Tasneem x tembam and so forth, sampai kadang mcm rasa tensen pulak and pikir  anak aku x cukup susu ke?? ke susu aku tak berkualiti?? But as time goes by and after hundreds of googling regarding baby weight vs bf, I find that my daughter is really just fine. Nothing wrong with her not so-chubby-montel-pipi and badan. Lagipun, her growth chart is still within the normal range, the weight is still increasing each month. Kalau berat baby turun, thats something yang kena risau. So now, I rest my case and just accept the fact that my little princess is not going to be in that tembam-montel group.  Kalau ada orang komen abt that,  pekak kan telinga and senyum aje laaaaaa…

Aha my sister called just now, she said that Tasneem now looks like ummi when I was a baby. My mom also said the same thing when she babysit Tasneem last week, especially looking at her when she’s sleeping.  Wah, perasaan sungguh bangga ummi mendengarnya ok!! Yelah, asyik org kata muka ikut abi aje kan…. bila nak muka ummi pulak? hehe

On the other note, ummi’s best friend, Avent IQ Isis Uno’s Let Down Massage Cushion has been missing.

Sudahlah tgh ada crisis production, hilang pulak 1 part. Now, kena lah ummi tahan sakit sikit everytime pumping.  Tak tahu mana nak carik ganti, tp 1st step nak pegi ke Mothercare kot lah diorang ada jual. Kalau xde, ummi nak tepon Kinderjik and ask for it. Kalau xde jugak kat Malaysia ni, bln 6 nnt WanChu nak ke UK, mintak tolong lah dia carik kan.

In the mean time, tahan aje laaa sakit tu kan demi untuk Tasneem.

Err anyway..anyone missing the little princess? heeehee :groucho:

Anyway, she is 4 months now. Makin besar, makin panjang, makin banyak main. . Aduhaii princess ummi & abi ni, makin banyak akal sekarang.

Last week we travelled from seremban. Although the cost of travelling was sky rocketting, tapi sebab Tasneem was safe and secured in the hand of her wan & atuk, ummi and abi pejam mata aje laaa..especially bile kat petrol station and mase nak top-up touch n go. The payback was indeed very satisfying; pipi Tasneem dah nampak tembam sikit!!  Ahaa..mana taknya, wan  sentiasa enjut buaian kalau Tasneem tido. Memang lena lah budak kecik tu tido.

On the low side, kesian jugak dgn Tasneem. First time Tasneem kena tinggal lama dgn ummi. We left her at 7.30am and only come back home 8pm the earliest. On the 1st day, she waited for us (ummi particularly) and refused to sleep. According to my mum, she didnt cry though. Only when she saw or maybe smell ummi she started to cry. After dapat nenen for only like 5 min terus lelap. Aduhai kesian nya..

But thats was last week, now the bbsitter is fine and fit to take care of little Tasneem and yeay, no more travelling (and habis duit & time on the road) for us.

Now, a little bit of her milestone or updates:

1. According to her bbsitter, she meniarap today tapi x reti nak turn over balik resulting in menangis meminta tolong.
2. Very playful and smiles a lot too.
3. Since she plays a lot and more aware of her environment, she’s playful while nursing too. Kejap aje bf-ing with ummi, kalau abi borak dgn ummi mmg dia distracted. Kadang tu kena masuk dalam bilik baru dia concentrate to nurse.
4. She is now in the making of an expert in nursing. Likes to latch and unlatch herself and sometimes resulting in a milky-pour-over her face when she unlatched herself  during the ‘let-down reflex’ is on progress.

Since it has been a very heaty days currently, Tasneem developed a pretty ugly rashes on her cheeks and bumbum. She always scratching in her sleep sampaikan calar balar muka. I assumed that she had mixed infection on both areas. Ruam susu + heat rashes on her cheek and nappy rashes + yeast infection on her bumbum. All this while ummi just applied hydrocort cream on those area but I guess it didnt really work. It was a sight that ummi can not stand lantas ummi bawak Tasneem jumpa doktor. She prescribed Econazine cream; anti-inflammary and anti-fungal cream and yet another hydrocort cream. She also advised ummi to carefully watch my food intake especially those allergic-trigger foods like eggs, chicken, prawns etc in which ummi should try to avoid. Hmm.. blame it on ummi lah because she inherited a sensitive skin; prone to have eczematous reaction. Anyway, after a few time applying the Econazine cream, the ugly rashes on her cheeks and bumbum dissappeared!! Now muka anak ku kembali cerah dan licin seperti biasa. TAPI, on the bad side those cream menyebabkan muka Tasneem a bit kering. Takpelah, kena lah rajin sikit apply lotion over and over.

Now, ummi nak mengadu kat mommies sume yang production susu tgh merudum lah. I know that the milk production mmg ada pasang surut nya, but now mmg tgh crisis giler ni. Tasneem drinks 20oz now and ummi can only produce 12-15oz perday. So I have to increase my pumping session IMMEDIATELY, kalau tak mmg confirm x leh nak catch-up with the demand. Now, I’m trying not to get panic. All because of my little girl, today pukul 4pagi ummi dah terjaga and x boleh tido, terus bangun and pump. Dapatlah 2.5oz. Campur dgn semalam 2oz jadi 4.5oz. Total up yesterday’s collection : 4oz + 7 oz + 2oz + 2.5oz = 15.5oz. Kena guna back-up stock to top-up jadik 20oz.

InsyAllah………everything will be fine.

Or maybe I should tell Tasneem not to drink so much today?

Tu lah, pengajaran untuk ummi sebab last week selalu miss pumping session. Walaupun dah banyak kali baca info psl pumping and to increase pumping session, still degil jugak. Ha sekarang menyesal.

The bbsitter has been feeling not well since last week resulting abi & ummi to take leave (& EL too!!) alternately. When we just thought everything will be fine today, we recieved a call at 11++pm last night from the bbsitter’s husband telling us that the bbsitter is still not fit to take care of little Tasneem.

We couldnt afford to take another EL, we dont have anybody else to look after Tasneem as in Bangi. So I came out with a suggestion.

kita balik seremban lah, mintak tolong mak jaga Tasneem.. tapi kena lah berkorban berulang dari sana..

Abi then immediately agreed because like I said, we both couldnt afford to take another day leave or maybe days of leave. Those last week ELs is already taking the toll on us; works piling up at the office.

I am very sure my mum is more than happy to look after her cucu perempuan pertama because my youngest brother studied in KL and left my parents at home. So my mum only have my ayah to gadoh2 with. 

So early in the morning, I called emak at 6.15am. She was quite surprise as I never (!!) called her before at that hours. I asked her either emak has programs this week, she said NO. I explained abt the bbsitter and asked her to bbsit Tasneem this week.  Of course lah emak suka!

When we reached my parent’s house, emak was gardening. I just knew she was waiting for her cucu.  Betul pun, belum sempat nak salam terus emak dukung Tasneem and bawak masuk rumah..

Haiihh…sayang cucu lebih dari anak..

Now she can mengulit my daughter puas2.

After we gonjeng-ed her head, her hair is growing OK but extra growing in the pusar part.

Yesterday was an outing day for our family. But not the yu-ha-yu-hi type of outing i.e: shopping mall outing, but more towards social outing.

Early in the morning, I told Tasneem that I’ll bring her to my office because I had to monitor a medical screening program. So after bathed and fed, she took her morning nap, but for only like 45 minutes and then she refused to sleep. Puas jgak ummi enjut dia suruh tido balik, tapi dia babling ntah hape2 dlm buai tu, siap tersengih2 pandang kita. Hm, terus aje angkat dia letak kt her playgym.

I said to abi, maybe sebab dia takut kena tinggal kalau tido lama2.

Masa kat office, she was so very baik little angel. Babbly and smiley with my staffs. Mana tak suka kalau asyik berdukung je kan?? hehe. I can see that she was sleepy tapi sebab ramai org layan dia, she refused to sleep. On the way balik ke rumah only she slept in her car-seat.

Then abt 3pm, we went out to ziarah abi’s auntie in Hospital Selayang. Tasneem was sleeping through out the  journey to PJ to pick my ILs, but bila dgr je suara my ILs, terus bukak mata and senyum2 kat nenek dia. We were at the hospital from 5pm till 7pm and she didnt sleep at all, all kicking, smiling and babling sebab ramai orang agah2. Lagi pulak there were a few children around, of course lagi suka la Tasneem.

On the way balik to PJ, only she slept. Agaknya sebab terlampau mengantuk, even she poops, still tido jugak. I was quite lega sebab she didnt fuss around for her nappy changed sbb we had to rush for my matrix gathering at Tupai2 at 8pm.

She woke up when I changed her diaper and stay awake for the rest of the night. Obviously she was sleepy but refuse to sleep. Yang bagusnya, dia tak meragam pulak sbab nak tido. Dia komplen2 lah jugak tapi x menangis, refuse to smile and less kickings. Dok baik je main dgn shawl ummi dlm stroller.

Her behaviour last night made me wonder, adakah sebab suka berjalan Tasneem menjadi kurang tido dan kurang minum susu? Atau pun adakah sebab Tasneem tak selesa nak tido dgn suasana selain bilik tido kami, tp dia x meragam sbb ikut ckp ummi yg pesan supaya jgn menangis sbb ummi nak jumpa kawan2?

Sampai rumah abt 12, she slept on the way back home and continue sleeping when I put her on the bed. She only woke up once asking for her milk and continue sleeping up till now as I write this post. Looking at her, rasa kesian sebab she must be so d*mn tired yesterday, having to sacrifice her sleep for her parents activities. Lagi rasa kesian, she didnt make much fuss and get cranky about that, cuma kurang ceria aje.

Oh, kesian Tasneem.

Our little princess; Tasneem Athirah is now 3 months old.

Dear  mommies & fellow readers,

I wanted to say a BIG thank you for the ‘get-well’ wishes and concerns regarding my health.  I decided to reply your questions and concerns about the bleeding in a blog-post rather than personally answer the comment one by one sebab basically the questions are about the same kan?

Happy to inform that I’m recovering from the bleeding. Alhamdulillah. However, the real reason behind the occurance of the bleeding in still un-confirm. 1st time intercourse post-delivery might be the act of the bleeding but my concern is that when I asked experienced mommies, they claimed that they didnt bleed as I did. Also, regarding to my gynae, during the suturing procedure, she noticed that my vaginal wall was kind of rapuh because it keeps fallen off when she inserted the needle. That worries me.

Although now the spotting has stopped and my follow-up appointment will be next week, I’m thinking of having for 2nd opinion from other gynae. You know, just to make sure that I am fine that I can have babies in the future. Some asked about wether it was caused by the C-sect procedure. My answer is I dont know. Now my concern is that, remember that I was inserted with 3 doses of induce drug/hormone to dilate the cervical opening but I didnt hence I had to go under the knife. It could be one the effects. But still, its just my wild paranoia thoughts. Mungkin takde kaitan langsung pun.  So mommies, fret not okay. I’ll update about it once I had the answer.

Erm..have you had an experience like me when you had intercourse post-delivery for the 1st time? Manalah tahu kan this is a common thing that I do not aware of. So tak payahla I nak risau lebih2. If you dont mind sharing..

On the other hand, Tasneem already 3 months old and I’m bringing her to her paed in a short while for her immunization jap. Will post her 3months pics in the next post.

First of all, thanks to all the ‘get well soon’ wishes, Tasneem is now recovering from the measles at moment.

However, health has been not great for ummi,  I just being discharged from the hospital.

I was bleeding on Saturday and  I thought my menstrual cycle has started. But deep in my heart I had a glinch that something was wrong because the blood was ‘fresh red blood’  instead of the normal menstrual blood. So I decided to see my Gynae, Dr Noraini on Tuesday. It seems that I was bleeding and had to undergo suture procedure to stop the bleeding.

It was an emergency case.

Sleeping drugs didnt work well on me, so Dr Noraini had to put me under general anesthetics(GA) after hubby gave his consent (I was unconcious, obviously).

It was abt 8.30++pm that I gained my conscious, I called mr.Hubby to come to the hospital. So we; little Tasneem, mr.Hubby and I spent a night there.

Now I’m so-and-so although sometimes I feel (I think) the effects of GA- drowsiness, sleepy (I was sleep-drugged before being put under GA) and light-headed. So little Tasneem had to be under abi’s care from now on untill ummi feel better.

Owh, I got 7 days MC but I dont feel quite happy abt it. hmm..

Woke up with bengkak susu. Solat subuh and immediately search for my IQ Uno. I thought I packed it completely tapi I forgot the most important part- the head motor pump. Dang.

Tasneem only manage to empty the right breast, but she was already full to drink from the left side. Lagipun, with the fever she still has, her appetite agak berkurangan. Macam biasa lepas minum, Tasneem will dozed off to sleep leaving ummi with a hard-swollen-painful-full with milk left breast.

I really have to express the milk. Googled and found this. Really helpful with pictures and good instructions. I never try hand expressing before. I know some of mommies out there prefer hand technique than gadgets. For instance, Mama Ryan mastered the skill of hand expression. In fact, some says gadget-express are painful. I dont know, I’ve been gadget-expressed since day 1 Tasneem was born.

I want to give it a try and see how it works.

A little update on Tasneem:

Dr NikRose decided to do urine Culture & Sensitivity test (urine C&S) since she did not find any signs of bacteria infections. If the result turn +ve presence of any form of bacteria in the urine, she’ll going to start on the antibiotics; which in my opinion, the last options that I have to take. As far as my concern, I wanted my daughter to have as minimal antibiotics drugs as she can. Suffice to say, its for her health benefits in the long run.

Anyway, when we reached Seremban, I noticed that she developed red-rashes on her cheeks, heads and body. It does look itchy. Emak said ( diagnosed ?? ), maybe its demam campak. Terus emak ambil tepung kanji and tepek-kan kat muka & badan Tasneem. Kelakar pulak ummi tengok dia di-tepung-gomak-kan. hehhee .

In 3days of her fever, the body temperature showed flactuate readings. Normal in mid-day, increasing by dawn, then lower at mid-night and so forth. This morning, her body temperature was slightly high but still below 38.0°C. Typical criteria of viral infections: <flactuate body temperature>. Erm, maybe betul la kot emak punye diagnosis: Tasneem  kena demam campak.

I just hope her fever will subside soon, because if lets say she still with fever in 2days time, we have to visit Dr. NikRose again for blood test. I know its normal for babies to have fever and in fact its good to strengthen the immune system. Looking at her condition now, she still actively bably, her poops were normal, sleep pattern normal except she drinks less milk,with red rashes on her cheeks and a bit clingy. Orang tua2 kata, demam nak beralih bulan. And thinking of that, I think I’m going to pass the blood test.Rasa macam x perlu pulak.  huhu
