Our story in JB

Last weekend, we; Tasneem & I went to JB to attend my cousin’s wedding. This is the 1st long distance travel for Tasneem. Notice that we is Tasneem & Ummi, Abi didnt tag along as he has to be the guardian officer for his scouts program in Terengganu. So, little Tasneem & I menumpang lah kereta wan & atuk to JB.

Masa tgh packing barang kat umah, cuak jugak memikirkan Tasneem buat perangai dalam carseat because of the long distance travelling. Almost all of her toys I bawak. But it turn out that she slept all the way from Seremban to JB, thats almost 3 hours journey. Weehhuuu.

Since Abi was not around, I thought that I will be struggling to handle Tasneem all by myself mase kat JB. I dont really mind staying at home or seremban with her all day, but I never had the experience travelling with her for 4 days straight. But I guess I was wrong, Tasneem mmg sangat menyenangkan ummi and such an angle to everybody.

My big Hjh Esah clan was there and Tasneem langsung tak buat hal. No wailing cry episode, No cranky baby episode, No clinging baby episode. But of course, ramai yang willing to look after my baby. Bertukar dr tangan ke tangan Tasneem kena dukung dgn my uncles, aunties and cousins. Yang bagus, Tasneem menyengih2 saje bila org dukung dia. Sampai MakNgah Tasneem panggil dia “Minah Sengih” 

Cuma kesian Tasneem masa kat JB aritu dia kena kembung perut. She didnt poo-poo starting from Friday till Sunday.That was unusual. She normally poo-poo everyday. After I gave her Woodward’s gripe water on Sunday only she passed motion. Banyak gila poo2 dia!  I guess my bad jugaklah sebab makan macam2. Paling tak sihat adalah makan pulut kuning with rendang daging. Mmg sedap and mmg lepas tu Tasneem kentut2 aje keja nya. Poor my baby, I can see that she was un-easy especially bila nak tidur. Sepanjang waktu yg dia x poo-poo tu, dia minum sikit je susu. EBM dlm botol pun dia taknak habiskan. Kalau direct feeding pun main2 je.

I plak being new mother with no experience, tak terfikir pulak nak check ape kehal nya dia. I just thought that she was excited surrounded by her new-met relatives, so dia mengabaikan waktu tidur & susu dia. In turn out that she was actually tak selesa with the condition. Sorry ye Tasneem. InsyAllah lepas ni ummi will be more alert and seek for advise sooner okay.

I did mention that abi was not with us kan? This is also the 1st time abi and us separated since Tasneem was born. I can see that the little princess missed her abi. There in JB, she likes to stare at my cousin, Emy. She will constantly look at him and at times I can see that she purposely looking around to find Emy. Kata my aunties, “Dia rindu dengan abi dia tuuuu…” . Maybe Emy resembles her abi in her eyes lah kot. Alahai…kesian anak ummi. Nasib baiklah dia x demam menanggung rindu.

Tasneem approaching her 5months. She now can roll effortless tapi yang kelakar tak pandai nak roll over to her back. Kalau dia dah penat she’ll cry for help. Appaaaa lah anak ummi ni.

Oh ya, my cousin, Daisyzuha gave birth a baby boy on 24th May, the same date with my cousin’s wedding. We were all excited with the new addition of Hjh Esah clan. Soon in June, my other cousin, Una will be giving birth to her 1st child too. Come December, Tasneem dapat cousin baru pulak. Heeee, can’t wait to have lots of babies gather around!

 

Oh Tasneem!!

Tak tahulah kenapa pagi2 buta tadi Tasneem buat pe’el lama. Bangun pukul 3pagi and demand suruh kita layan dia. Arggh..Tasneem, ummi mengantuklah!!

Mula2 dia buat bising kat katil dia, ummi angkat and pikir mungkin dia suruh tukar diaper. Ok, ummi pun tukar. Bagi nenen dengan harapan semoga dia tidur kembali macam selalu. Tapi malam tadi dia tak nak tido pulak.

Riuhnya mulut si kecik tu. Tak lena ummi di buatnya. Ummi bangun balik, check on her diaper again. Manalah tahu kan kalau ummi pasang x betul sbb pasang tgh mamai. Ok je, kering.

Ummi tak layan mulut riuh dia , tepuk2 sambil nyanyi lagu tido dia. Tasneem tak makan dodoi pulak. Dia tengok je mata ummi. Ummi cakap, tido lah Tasneem, ummi mengantuk ni. Eh, dia sengih2 la pulak!! Mata ummi kelat sangat nak bukak layan Tasneem pagi tadi, ummi biar aje dia. Bila dia tengok ummi tak layan, dia nangis.

Ummi dah makin geram, terus kejut abi mintak pertolongan.

Nasib baiklah senang pulak abi Tasneem sedar pagi tadi. Agaknya dia pun x lena nak tido dengar riuh mulut anak dia tu. Bila dah pass over, ummi terus ajelah tutup mata tidur. Tak sedar pulak berapa lama abi Tasneem layan dia, ummi tersedar abi kejut ummi sebab Tasneem dah lapar nak susu balik.

Hah, kali ni baru lah dia lena lepas dapat nenen. Tapi, ummi dengan abi lah terima padahnya. Bangun lambat kami pagi tadi.

Tasneem oh Tasneem..kenapalah nak bergurau senda pagi2 buta tu?

Dear Ina, tabahkan hatimu dan kuatkan semangatmu menempuhi dugaan dari Yang Maha Esa. Sesungguhnya, anakmu itu adalah bidadari syurga yang hanya dipinjamkan sementara oleh-Nya. InsyAllah, akan berjumpa kalian di sana nanti

My motivation of BF

Since now ummi is battling with the decrease of  milk production, I find these pics motivational and keeps me going to bf the little princess.

Anyway, we went for her 4th jap this morning. Am not surprise at all, she weights at 5.85kg, increased 450 grams only! :?  Then bile part tinggi macam biasalah, her paed said the same dialogue while jotting the chart.. tinggi dia ni, ikut abi… I guess I have to menerima hakikat yang Tasneem wont be as chubby and montels as other babies yang kusss-semangat badan dia tu. Mula2 dulu terasa jugakla bila orang komen Tasneem x montel, Tasneem x tembam and so forth, sampai kadang mcm rasa tensen pulak and pikir  anak aku x cukup susu ke?? ke susu aku tak berkualiti?? But as time goes by and after hundreds of googling regarding baby weight vs bf, I find that my daughter is really just fine. Nothing wrong with her not so-chubby-montel-pipi and badan. Lagipun, her growth chart is still within the normal range, the weight is still increasing each month. Kalau berat baby turun, thats something yang kena risau. So now, I rest my case and just accept the fact that my little princess is not going to be in that tembam-montel group.  Kalau ada orang komen abt that,  pekak kan telinga and senyum aje laaaaaa…

Aha my sister called just now, she said that Tasneem now looks like ummi when I was a baby. My mom also said the same thing when she babysit Tasneem last week, especially looking at her when she’s sleeping.  Wah, perasaan sungguh bangga ummi mendengarnya ok!! Yelah, asyik org kata muka ikut abi aje kan…. bila nak muka ummi pulak? hehe

On the other note, ummi’s best friend, Avent IQ Isis Uno’s Let Down Massage Cushion has been missing.

Sudahlah tgh ada crisis production, hilang pulak 1 part. Now, kena lah ummi tahan sakit sikit everytime pumping.  Tak tahu mana nak carik ganti, tp 1st step nak pegi ke Mothercare kot lah diorang ada jual. Kalau xde, ummi nak tepon Kinderjik and ask for it. Kalau xde jugak kat Malaysia ni, bln 6 nnt WanChu nak ke UK, mintak tolong lah dia carik kan.

In the mean time, tahan aje laaa sakit tu kan demi untuk Tasneem.
